Paintball is a really fun game. It is played in many ways but there are two basic ways.
Woodsball is played in the woods which you probably figured out. It is a slower paced game and it is pretty fun. It usually requires more stradegy to it and not just a run in and shoot everything in site type of game. Right now in my opinion Tippmann makes the best woodsball gun. You can't beat their guns. They are very durable and have many upgradable options. They make many different types of guns and you can check them out at www.tippmann.com.
This is a very fast version of paintball. It usually is played in a small space and has borders. The point is to grab the flag in the center of the field and take it to the opposite teams dead box. A match doesn't take very long and teams are usually 5 on 5. There are a lot of different speedball guns to choose from and I do a lot more woodsball so I'm unsure which would be the best to go with.
Paintaball can really be played by anyone at any age. It is a really fun sport that doesn't require you to practice. You choose when to play and if you want to be good you should practice. When I first started I was a little scared and that is the biggest step. If you get over your fear of being hit then you can play with anyone. My good friend Dwight taught me the basics and helped me conquer the fear of being hit. Now people ask me for help and they ask me questions about paintball. It's really fun and everyone should play at least once in their life.
